Noted particularly for classical ballet, his styles also include jazz, tap, opera, theatre, hip-hop, and contemporary styles.
In a career far too lengthy to list, Mr. Morgan, a former principal dancer of The Joffrey Ballet, has danced lead and solo roles for President's Reagan and Bush at Kennedy Center and Lincoln Center.
Mr. Morgan exhibited a particularly fresh and innovative choreographic skill, and advanced to the position of Director of The Joffrey II where he received accolades on his unprecedented choreography. Ever so versatile, Mr. Morgan became the choreographer of the internationally successful television show Club MTV with iconic host
Downtown Julie Brown. Mr. Morgan's choreography on Club MTV and his unique style have been widely imitated, and its influences are still seen in popular videos today. Always a risk taker, Edward Morgan took MTV to uncharted territory by bringing stars of The Joffrey Ballet to perform on Club MTV by merging ballet, hip-hop, and jazz. That was the beginning of ballet merging with club dancing that introduced the new style of dance to television in which we see today.
In Los Angeles, Mr Morgan danced numerous lead and solo roles with The Joffrey Ballet at The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, and was invited to perform a solo on the Arsenio Hall Show in Hollywood. Also, while in Los Angeles, Mr. Morgan choreographed a selected group of dancers for an upcoming awards show which led him back to New York to develop "The Macys MTV Spectacular."

Opportunity presenting itself abroad, Mr. Morgan became an Artist-In-Residence in Paris, France, taught at the Centre de Danse du Marais, danced a spirted solo with the International Gospel Festival, and performed at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées. His sensitive choreography with the underprivileged children of Colombes to the music of Mozart was performed at UNESCO and filmed by France Television Channel 3 and Produced and Directed by Joseph Alexander.
